This course dives into the climate emissions issue and answers the questions: 

• “What is a greenhouse gas (GHG) Inventory?”  
• “Why do organizations do a greenhouse gas inventory to track carbon gas emissions ?” 
• “What needs to be considered when doing a GHG inventory?

Format: 

• Overview (1 hour): An introduction to background information on the climate emissions issue and answers the What and Why questions like  “What is a GHG Inventory?” and “Why do organizations do a greenhouse gas inventory?”  

• Full course (8 hour in-person or virtual over two half days): Comprehensive class with hands-on activities and group problem solving simulating a GHG inventory. You'll learn the terms and methods used to quantify, report, and solve the emissions challenge. We'll talk about how organizations can start to develop their GHG inventory practice, address some of the challenges, and start to develop a Climate Action Plan.
